There are reports of a new Microsoft web analytics tool being in the works. It would compete directly with Google Analytics.
Microsoftが、Google Analyticsと競合するようなアクセス解析ツールをリリースするのではないか、という噂があるそうです。
現在はベータ版で、コードネームは“Gatineau”というそうです。今年の夏に向けてスケジュールが進行しており、年齢や性別でフィルタリングできるのが特徴なのだとか。
This specific data will be coming from users’ Windows Live profiles, and will remain unconnected with users’ personal information such as name or email address.
どのくらいの精度を持つデータなのか分かりませんが、年齢や性別でフィルタリングできるようになるというのは興味深いです。
ちなみに“Gatineau”は「ガティノー」というカナダの地名だそうです。
