The collaborative DIY web site Instructables has a neat trick for adding a shutdown shortcut to your Windows desktop complete with the shutdown icon (or anywhere else, for that matter).
マシンを終了させるショートカットを、デスクトップに置くための方法を紹介しているチュートリアル「Make the shutdown icon on your desktop and others.」がありました。
この方法は、リスタートやログオフにも使えるそうです。
ぼくはMacBookですが、電源ボタンを押してダイアログを表示させて、そこから「再起動（r）」「スリープ（s）」「システム終了（リターンキー）」を選ぶようにしています。
