Mac OS X用の「Google Reader Notifier」がリリースされていました。ただしこれは、Googleのオフィシャルなものではないので、その点のみ注意が必要です。
「Google Notifier for Mac」は愛用しているのですが、あいにくRSSリーダはlivedoor Readerなので、とりあえず「Google Reader Notifier」は必要なさそうです。
