Mac OS X only: Freeware app Google Reader Notifier plugs into your Google Reader account and alerts you of new, unread items.
Mac OS X用の「Google Reader Notifier」がリリースされていました。ただしこれは、Googleのオフィシャルなものではないので、その点のみ注意が必要です。
「Google Notifier for Mac」は愛用しているのですが、あいにくRSSリーダはlivedoor readerなので、とりあえず「Google Reader Notifier」は必要なさそうです。
