firewallポリシーなどでオフィスからFTPができない場合に、ウェブベースのFTPサービスを知っていると役に立つんじゃないか、ということで、ウェブベースのFTPクライアントが紹介されています。
どちらもSSL、anonymousでのFTPに対応しているそうです。パーミションの変更、ディレクトリの作成、リネームなど、基本的なFTPの機能は兼ね備えています。
何かの時のために覚えておいても良いかもしれません。
